Camp sick

     You know you’re a Raintree person when you miss being covered in dirt, even though you took a shower less than an hour before. You cry when saying goodbye to people you’ll see in 9 months. You miss the smell of horses constantly being around you. You know you’re a Raintree person when you miss singing really weird and sometimes a bit morbid camp songs really loudly before each meal. When you are on a set eating schedule thats hard to shake. And when you wake up at 7:30a.m and can’t go back to sleep, when you used to be the type of person that could sleep until noon. 

     Yesturday I came back from what felt like my home. At time I feel more at home there then I do at my actual home. There’s something about Raintree Ranch that you just can’t explain… I have never once in my life been homesick but I can think of a number of times being camp sick. Right now I would give the world for the first week of school to be cancelled and go back to Raintree. I’m supposed to be all excited right now to start my senior year like all my other friends are but as of right now I could care less, I just want to get through the year and straight to summer haha.
